Dipke landed in Delhi a day after his party’s co-convenors, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, surreptitiously climbed a gate at the prohibited area of Jantar Mantar to protest against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar and the government, which has denotified Jantar Mantar as a designated protest site. Later, Das and Ranka were sent to 5-day judicial custody on the order of Delhi’s special executive magistrate court.
